Actually yesterday, but I had my biennial electroshocking. Overton's guys only pulled out 95# of 14" or less LMB, which was a good thing. 4 years ago, it was 150#. 2 years ago it was 130#. Hopefully, all that means the number of the cullable sized LMB are steadily dropping. As usual, I had neighbors set up to take those LMB, so everybody was happy. I loaded my haul tank and hit their ponds with smiles waiting.

Typical TX part of the day was the weather. Ethan and I had been texting for a week, trying to decide if it was safe for putting the aluminum shock boat in the water with thunderstorms and 20+ mph winds forecasted. Thursday forecast looked better, so we went ahead and shocked the pond. When they were here, it was cloudy with no rain and manageable winds. 1 hour after they left, we had a torrential downpour with extremely high winds, and hail. An hour after that, it was blue skies and dead still. Unfortunately, that front rolled through Arkansas and caused a lot of damage.
