They have never fed like this during winter before.
Do you think you have created a self-reinforcing cycle?
The more you see them eat, then the more likely you are to feed them, then the more likely they are to be lingering around the feeding spot around chow time?
Just wondering if getting a little extra feed in them during winter helps them survive subsequent stress events later in the year?
