Hi all, new member here from the Sunshine State. I'm about to close on some property with 2 ponds on it; both about 0.75-acre. It's family land that I grew up around. My grandfather stocked them, so I used to fish them quite often. Great memories. They haven't been used or care for for quite a few years since my grandparents passed on, but I'm excited to give them some new life. Something I've wanted to do for a while and the opportunity presented itself. Gonna start with water chemistry, fish survey, and plant ID with hopes of getting that figured out in time to get a stocking plan put together this spring before it warms up.
Tentative plan would be to have one CC and the other LMB/BG/RES with some warmouth, too.
Been lurking here off and on for years. Glad to have a reason to be a member. Cheers, Sf
