I’ve been bass fishing since I was about 7 years old. My older brother would drag me along with his friends on fishing excursions. Last weekend is the first time I have ever caught two bass on one cast/lure. One fish was caught on the lure front hook and the other on the lure back hook. They are both happily back in the pond. Amazing! 😎

In the nature including fisheries this 2Fer is due to what is called kleptoparasitism.

Kleptoparasitism is the theft of prey caught by another animal, acting as a common foraging strategy where predators (e.g., seabirds, fish, mammals) steal food to save energy or access otherwise unattainable, high-quality prey. In OK, I'd say yes. In clear water upper MIdwest BOW's or the Great Lakes where water clarity can be over 20 feet, I'd say sight trumps vibration.

Great looking LMB! Once, years ago I caught a YP and a LMB on the same Rebel Wee-Craw. They each were only about 6" long, and I've never duplicated it.

I am of the impression that vibration catches more fish than sight.

Me and my buddy were fishing a local pond that we quickly found out was way overcrowded with 3/4 lb bass, you couldn't pull a lure thru there with out hooking one and thered be several chasing it to the boat, trying to steal whatever it was they had.

Anyways he hooked a double like that on a topwater popper, then turned around and hooked a turtle too, and then a few minutes later snagged a water moccasin that was acting aggressive, all in one morning.
