I bought kit on amazon from DC House. .75hp, 550w, 5.7CFM with two diffusers. First issue was the weighted hoses, super cheap and would get hot because the L bracket out of the compressor had it right up against the unit and would get hot and bust. Fixed that by buying a 50' rubber air hose and just used the 3/8 directly, see below, and by the time air gets to the cheap hoses, its cooled off and no issues. However, I built house for the unit, see below, it did NOT work. Got way to hot and overheated. So that was a waste of time. I now have the unit under my RV, out of the rain etc, but with shade and plenty of ventilation. But, based on my surveillance cam at the property, it still must be overheating. I see it on and then every few hours it stops for a bit. Oh, and this might be an issue. one diffuser is at 100' and the other 300' away.
So, not that i have diffusers set and pond is use to and ready for 24hr run time, how do I get this unit cool, is the line length the issue or suggestions for another compressor that can handle 24/7 in SW MO temps?
