At least in my small central Iowa pond, the BG are busy with nesting..

Most years I believe 4 times, but might squeak out a 5th round some seasons.

In Iowa? Wow! Never thought they'd spawn more than maybe twice there. You must be feeding them Love Potion Number Nine!
