It is better to listin to those that know but i still built it myself.
gast pump 90$ .5-5.0 difisers 2 at 16$ each pipe hose and asorted hardware 50$ coolin fan had it pump house had it.
So i still came in under 200$ not coutin my time.
AND yes it works much better than my homemade stuff pump is runin under 4 psi all i need do now is add a check vaulve at the pump now that i am not bleadin off any air

As ya can see with all the rain we have had down here i am havin annother alga bloom but as ya can also see i now have alot of air and water movein

You do have some ventilation in that box don't you? Otherwise your pump will heat up too much in the summer. Additionally is this your first crank up. If so you want to pulse it. You may bring up too much anoxic water too fast.

the box is vented at the botum and the back and there is a fan.
and both my home built sys. have been runnin all along so the water has been movein off the bottum the hole time .
