Field stripping a cigatette: Flip the lit end until the smoldering part leaves the butt. Then peel a piece of the paper all the way down to the filter. Shake out the tobacco, roll the remeining paper into a tiny ball and discard. Put the filter in your pocket or? for later disposal. USAF 1964 to 1968; Very few filters in those days.
