Our trip "Up Nort Fishin" was excellent though a bit on the cool side. We caught a lot of fish and had fresh fish for our evening meal several times. Other evening meals were grilled chicken breasts, grilled sirloin burgers and grilled Ball Park franks.
We had one rain event day that caused us to go to the Northern Lights Casino for some nickel slots and some buffet grazing action. I used my newly perfected nickel slot technique and won a few hundred bucks.
The temps dropped into the 20 degree range a couple nights. On two separate mornings instead of drying the dew off the boat seats etc. with a towel I was pushing frost around with the towel.
We had two days with winds in the 35 mph range. I really enjoy the challenge of getting to a quiet bay in 35 mph winds and temps in the 30s.
Gail was impressed with her new cold weather gear, thankfully.
