face72 Lunker F Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 172 Portland	Im about to spend 200 bucks on a jug of black pond dye...and need some advice. The pond is only 5 foot deep, and Im wondering when I stir up the mud will the pond be muddy....or will the pond dye overpower it...and keep it black?

I think the volume of dye needed to "overpower" clay is greatly in excess fo the amount normally used for plant control purposes.
