Can some one help me ID this plant? I dug four of them up out of a ditch and brought them home. They look like some nice plants but, I would like to know a little more info on them before they get to established. They have blooms that look alot like arrowhead. Small white flowers on a stalk. I have looked at the Texas plant site but did not find anything close http://s203.photobucket.com/albums/aa100/rgraf/johns%20Plants/?action=view¤t=JohnsPics011.jpg

John G. - does this plant look similar to yours? TP&W ID's this plant "Bull Tongue. Our's are not invasive - in fact I like them in localized areas.

Yes, that looks pretty close. The leaves have a way of twisting like a cork screw. And the blooms are white but they only last about 1 day.
