Special permits may also be required to change light bulbs in bug sluggers, although it wasn't mentioned in this thread

So how do I get some PBers to help me change my light bulb, and put up a spot light at my pond?

Free beer in massive quantities helps.

Yes, and the beer must meet the new EPA/ACOE/PETI standards of conductivity of less than 10 micro mhos per cm., or micro- siemens.

Yup, whoever was watching us in December last year must still be watching.

Still one of the best humor threads. I reread the whole thing again and laughed at every line..... for the second time.

It was humor, wasn't it? You could almost attach a name to every line.

Was having "one of those days" so thanks for brightening it up.

In fact, Bruce invented horizontal aeration in honor of Ava Gardner, just so his pond would have permanent waves.

Burger...
wouldn't this be an absolutely perfect time to post my picture of Bruce as a young man experimenting with horizontal aeration?

Tom G, I guess I should have specified. I just assumed that everyone knew you serve your beer cold and your saki hot (and your Capitan Morgan over Diet Pepsi on the rocks in a tall glass or so I've heard).

I would think that OSHA standards would want all who are off the ground to use a saftey harness. Also do these same instructions apply to changing my tulip bulbs?

No moderation here, Burger, figuratively and literally.

I want to see it too!

You guys have it all wrong. As a child Bruce worked on fountains after being inspired by the great European sculptors. The horizontal aeration came much later.

I'd moderate this, if not for the fact that it's extremely accurate. \:\)

Have any of you ever counted the number of bulbs that you have to change? I got curious this morning. Counting everything, including a bunch of seldom used lamps, a backyard building, outdoors, a chandalier in a seldom used dining room, closets, and ceiling fans in just about every room, I came to 110. I didn't count flashlights, refrigerator, microwave, or my 2 really cool old Aladdin oil lamps. A lot of these lights/bulbs never get used so I seldom have to mes with them.

Try it. You will probably go into shock.

I don't even want to know how many battery operated gizmos I have.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
