Well here is the finished product. The first time I tried to fill the pallet with expandible foam, but it must have not cured right inside the pallet because it sunk like a rock. So I ended up using foam insulation screwed to the bottom. And that worked like a charm. Eric, I took your advise and planted some wild irises.
