Hey all. Thanks for the interest and feedback. I had thought that some of the Texans here would have some experience. I have read lots on line about the topic. I am very leary, however, to pick up a real estate person via the internet. It its tough enough to find one in the states who really has your back let alone one off of the internet in a foreign country.
As Rad says...If you are not living on the edge you are taking up too much room. While we cannot make a permanent move now, we would like to start planning for that future place. I thought that land may be cheaper down there. A co-worker has bought a place in Aruba that was quite reasonable, and that got our wheels turning. Anyway, thanks for the help!
