Google SketchUp V6
Sketchup is a full blown 3D drawing package that I used when tring to visualize modifications to my 130 yr old farmhouse. It is Free! I can't believe it. The Pro version just allows more import/export options, but I have even made 3D pdf files for emailing or others viewing. It will take some effort to learn, but as with my project, seeing it in 3d, walking around etc. is worth the effort if it helps you do it right the first time. It's about a 35 meg download.
Another neat thing you PondMasters might find interesting is that you can model the topography of your property. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks powerful.
Good help and online tutorial stuff, they have a online forum too but it is very lame compared to the one we know and love. Only risk I know is that you may spend more time designing than doing... Let me know what you think. Jeff
