I think there has to be a wait-&-see period.

I agree with Chris; with that many predators in a small pond, the crappie may not have a chance to over multiply.

If you choose, now is the time to catch some of those black crappie back out if you're having second thoughts. You could always pull out 5-10 crappie, and still have them as a bonus fish.
