I think keeping them the same size is more important then worrying about different species of trout. Size disparity spells problems as fish are like chickens -- there's a pecking order especially in smaller spaces. Typically the smaller fish are lower on the hierarchy and don't get as much feed. Sometimes actually having more fish breaks down the territoriality (sp?). Some species are more agressive or territorial than others. Typically the predator fish are the worst.


If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
