They don't grow very fast at all in this pond, nothing like they grow on higher ground where they can occasionally dry out. A front-yard bald cypress planted at the same time as the pond cypress is now easily 40 to 50 feet whereas the pond cypress are only 6-7 feet at best. Great tree!!
