This the largest of the bass born this year that I've seen. I stocked 9 bass this spring and the pond was a dry hole last summer so this bass was born this spring. Is this good for a 3-4 month old? Does he look healthy for a bass his size? Thanks

That seems like good growth for YOY LMB to me, even discounting some for getting an earlier start down in Texas. Up here it would be VERY good growth since the spawn.

My newly spawned bass (this year spawn) are only 2-2.5". We stocked new pond last year in May, so the 1st spawn of 1 year old bass might have been delayed somewhat.
That looks to be great growth rate for 3 months and healthy looking fish IMHO.
