Cecil's definitely not just throwing out numbers. He's right on the money. Both of my recreational ponds are well over 1,000 lbs. per acre, but I'm using aquaculture principles as well. It's actually not THAT expensive when compared with the cost of the dam, and the house, and the Morton building...etc,.....etc..........

I've almost gone two whole years without killing my fish, too. \:D


And like Cecil, I'm not recommending that anybody else do this. What I would recommend however, is for people to learn some aquaculture principles, because then you can get a more reasonable amount of fish well supported with oxygen and good water quality.
