With aeration, and if they are feed trained, and you feed them, you can have up 2500 lbs. of bass per acre. I've done it. However, I would play it safe and stay under that as we are not talking about commerical aquaculture here we are talking a recreational pond. There is also a rule of thumb to follow when feeding fish. Stay under 30 lbs. of feed per acre per day.
