What Kind of fish is this?

Went fishing on the Shenandoah river this past weekend... caught a bunch of these off Rapalas, I don't think they are carp, their mouths where too big. anyone know?






Just for fun, My first small mouth bass. I think I'm addicted to catches these now. caught a 12 incher and I couldn't believe it's strength, totally owns LMB. :0

Pretty sure it's a fallfish. I've caught them before on the Shenadoah and other rivers in the eastern US. Biggest one I ever got was over 12" and they will grow to 18".
