I'm finding that even this part can be tricky. It turns out that my bluegill that are fed copious amounts of pellets don't grow as large as the fish that have the option between pellets and abundant natural forage. The growth curve in one of my smaller ponds has flattened out a little because I have too high a density of YP, which are vacuuming up all the invertebrates. I'm working on this.
