They represented that the pond has been full and that it held water well. I hadn't thought about the possibility of having a spring in the bottom of the pond could affect it's ability to hold water but now that you mention it, that does make sense. I guess we will see for sure after some good rains. I'll take some measurements and see how well it holds.
