Over the weekend I was removing what I think is pondweed using the stick-n-twist method. When I got some weeds from the deeper water I noticed groups of small eggs or something attached to the vegatation. Also, I have an area where the water is pumped to the top and runs down over some rocks, where the water is running over the rock, they are covered with some kind of larva or ?? Just a hunch, I think they're some kind of insect eggs.

Kelly, This would be 1 of the very few insects that could lay that many eggs of that size:

yes, new water, did the retaining walls, dug the pond, and placed all the rock. We call it the labor camp around here. I have not seen any creatures like the one above, but I did have some small snails last year, I wonder if snails lay eggs?
