Can someone give me the best format for sharing my pics and information. In other words, I posted pics of my project a few weeks ago under: pond constrution and they start on monday http://www.pondboss.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=000248 , I want to post new pics as the construction is happening as well as the progress of our experiments through the years. SO, should i attach them to my existing thread? Start a new thread? what do ya'll prefer. Note: I said OUR experiments for a reason. I'm fortunate to live in South Texas along the boarder of Mexico where i have a long growing season, and mild winters. My main pond will have TFshad, tilapia, FHM, Fl.LMB. We are gong to find out if You can Catch Tilapia like BG if you take the more aggressive BG out of the equation. But im open to running all types of experiments so give me ideas. I hope to have a total of 4 ponds when done. One other thing, I have a question on aeration I need help with. Thanks everyone.

I prefer you continuing with an existing thread until you change subject matter. For instance all construction related posts in your construction thread. But if you have a stocking issue post start a new thread in the appropriate section or if you are dealing with a different aspect of construction (building a dock, etc) then start a new thread. This way we can follow your construction progress from beginning to end in one thread. Look at some of Brettski's stuff and you'll see what I mean - he has threads on wetland development, house construction, etc - makes it easier to follow that way.

Of course be forewarned that you may start a thread related to spillways and by the end of it we might be discussing alternative uses of ear wax. I'm not mentioning any names but there are folks here that have a tendency to stray from a thread's subject matter. \:D

In 1741, Captain Rice set sail from Antigua with a mutinous crew. He never reached his destination.

I had rice with dinner last night. Did you know that it takes 5,000 liters of water to produce one kilogram of rice?

Yeah, Yeah, and I am sure all of you have heard the resent reports that Coca-Cola uses 25 liters of water to produce 1 liter of Coke. And speaking of Coke, they just don't seem to taste as good as they did when they came in the 10oz bottles and cost a dime. What's up with that?

That's why a few years back COKE announced that a new improved coke was replacing the classic recipe. It tasted extremely bad. People flocked to buy up all the classic left on store shelfs. Of course the classic was bought back within a few weeks. Now that's marketing genius.
Bob please don't pull that here.... folks will be jumping out of windows especially after your TV day view.

Well if it takes 5,000 liters of water to produce one kilogram of rice, how many liters does it take to produce a kilo of fish?
