5-6-75, I was working in the Omaha-Lincoln Nebraska area.
Those photos remind me of what the sky looked like as I was headed back toward Omaha. I believe it was an F4 tornado that came out of a wall cloud like that.
I ended up staying in Lincoln after hearing on the radio about what had happened. The next day I drove through Omaha on I-80 and it was a major disaster area. The devastation is imbedded in my mind to this day.
It was also the first and last time I stayed in a Motel 6. If you wanted to watch TV (black & white) you had to put a quarter in the box on the wall
