Whilst gator watching yesterday I noticed a strong sulfur smell emanating from the out flow of my drain pipe. Upon further investigation found a dark, frothy black water coming form the pipe.

I suppose this is the decomposing plant growth that was flooded when my pond refilled? The top of the pond is clear...amazing difference between the surface and bottom. NASTY!

The siphon system seems to be working beautifully.
