I would guess the rate of conditioning would be the major factor in "catchability".Even the most sophisticated fishing techniques would soon quit working in a small pond with a limited number of predators, I would guess. So the question of catchability could be thought of in this sense. How often can i fish for this particular species before they become hook-shy? to quote Meodowlark
