Dave, 56 years ago on July 29th, my bride and I were married and left a small town in Kansas in a�38 Ford, all our belonginngs in an army footlocker, and $300 between us.
I was a young geologist working on a O&G exploration crew and stayed in one town too long�met my sweetheart on a blind date � the prettiest little girl I had ever seen.
She shared my adventuresome spirit and we traveled all over the U.S. mid-continent and Rocky Mountains before we settled down in a central office location.
She�s my best buddy and can out fish me any day of the week.
