How about a gill net with openings too big for the other fish (bass will avoid them) but not big enough for the cats to get through? Be aware that they will tangle themselves in the net a little though and the spines will get you if you are not careful. Been there done that as a biologist aid one summer.
What does anyone else think about this idea?
