Yes there were some big gills taken on fathead minnows but no bigger than 9 inches -- although they did have high WR's. Also the occasional smallmouth bass of about 14 inches.
The fishing is getting to be less fun than usual. I need to catch 20 more for health testing and the vet is coming Wednesday morning.( I have 25 in a cage right now) I couldn't catch a single perch this evening. I will be out there at first light tomorrow and will fish all day.
