The Ling up there is also known as a burbot. It looks like a cross between an eel and a catfish. It has an eel like body and a catfish type head. Not my favorite fish to catch. Somepeople say it tastes great. Others cut theline before it gets tot hesurface becauses its so ugly and slimy and eel like.

Me I just try to avoid fishing in the areas or times that it feeds so I don't have to face it.
