I'd venture a guess that a legitimate, healthy 14 inch bluegill would break the state record in 45 out of the 50 states in the U.S. I've still never seen one that was a true 12.5 incher.

That's truly amazing.
Is it possible though these are old fish that have low relative weights? I have a lake near me that grows 11 inch bluegills but they are somewhat elongated.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
