howard, regarding the feed, i'm learning a few new things (being a complete rookie at fish feeding).....i asked the fish farmer when i got my fish if they would take feed. he said you're putting them in a 1 acre pond? i said yeah, he said thats like putting a flake of hay in the middle of a thousand acres and then stocking with one steer........so you'll have to work at it, if you can get a few to take feed, others will follow, feed in the same place at the same time(s) of day. after only a couple weeks, and bribing with worm chunks along the way, i now have a huge school (maybe 500 fish) waiting every evening in the same place for me to throw some chow out.... good luck!
