Does anyone know of an ant poison that works really well and is safe for use near and around ponds? Today I was told that the granular Spectracide poison works well, but I'm not sure if it would have a negative affect on/in my pond.
Last summer I used some liquid killer directly on the mounds and the ants just packed up and rebuilt about 2 feet away.
My two least favorite creatures: fire ants and nutria rats.
