Update.

I made it down to check on the pond yesterday. Stopped by Tyler Fish Farms and picked up 2,500 CNBG + 200 CC's. Guys were real nice, threw in an albino CC for my 2 swampers (3 and 5 year olds). I put 50 CC's (albino included) in my small pond.

Big Pond:

Spotted 1 cormorant. He decided to depart.

My lake level is holding steady, no noticeable drop. Excellent news since I have done major work on the dam. Water is slightly stained with about 18" visibility. This is much improved from 2 weeks ago. I expect it will clear further...we have had a lot of big winds the last few weeks.

- I have a massive, (and I mean MASSIVE) about of cover. About 50% cover. I feel that primarily LMB survived the drain down. I caught several nice sized LMB, to 4 lbs. before it filled again.

- Stocked 2,500 CNBG + 150 CCs (all I could afford). : )

- CNBG will start spawning once the water reached about 65 degrees.

- Expect an explosion in LMB this year. May stunt?

- I am not planning on any further stocking at this time.

- Set up a feeder for the CNBG.

Anyone have comments/different opinion/suggestions?
