I'm no Al Gore fan but he didn't say he invented the internet. It's an urban legend probably made up by a poltical opponent.
Cecil, I will check with Al's political advisors to see if we can release that he actually did lay claim to inventing the internet in the 2000 campaign. He certainly has never rebuked the notion. Maybe we can get 'softball' Matthews to ask him point blank...yea, right.
