I saw that documentary about the magnetism of rock core samples (I believe it was volcanic rock) that showed how the earth's magnetism has changed over the years.

It seemed to me to be fairly conclusive that we are very small subsets of cycles within the much, much greater cycles of the cosmos, so much so that our own cycles might be insignificant (barring man-made catastrophe).

I've got a call into Al Gore because: 1) I'm having trouble with the internet today; and 2) I'd like him to make a documentary about my pond.
