Dave, I have seen that data and other longer term data like the magnetic fields in the rocks which show the poles shifting.
I.e.

I also saw in a few articles that one volcano puts out more stuff to cause glbal warming than all of the man made stuff for a year.

Its always interesting to me that if we try to look at the relative short term data ( < 1000 years ) and try to extrapolate that to something we are bound to come up with an incomplete at best but more likely incorrect answer.
