But I feel good about that. About 90 miles east of me one town got 11-12 ft of snow over the past 5 days and expects another 4 ft out of this storm. They are truly sitting or will be sitting on 196 inches of snow over a weeks time!!!! \:D

Now imagine the run off for the pond when that starts to melt. At about 1 inch of rain for every 10 inches of snow. Thats a massive 20 inches worth of rain over the course of one week.
Actually Eric the rain to snow ratio depends on temps. I just learned this the other day but typically when it's quite cold or with lake effect snow 20:1 ratio's are not unsual. I think that can go as high as 40:1 but I'm not 100 percent sure of that.
