I'm getting ready to finish my dock soon and build a big tree fort for the kids. I was pricing treated lumber at Lowes earlier and ran across some nice looking copper 6x6 post caps with solar lights in them.

I don't have power run to my dock area and may not ever do it. Anyone used these lights, and do they put out much usable light? I'm wondering how reliable they are too. At $45/light it better not burn out or quit working after a couple years \:\( We have had the solar lights in our landscaping before and they are reliable.
