ewest - There are actually 2 Furhead Wheel Chock(s). They are interchangeable during chocking duties.

I caught them together in a tree next our burning bin trying to get warm or waiting for some cooked leftovers.

Green and yellow glow in the dark pirate eyes. I think they must have been working for the ice pirate doing some fish and spider hole surveys. Which color is the right chock and which the left.

port = yellow (no red-eyed chocks on hand at this time)

starboard = green

...presumably the subject chocks are aptly named Nun and Can?

It was a weak effort to communicate in Dwight-ese. I closed my eyes and emptied my mind of all thoughts...a process that comes quite easy for me. I drifted back to a time in my life that is now 15 - 20 years past. All the time the ominous optical glow of Cor and Ona burn against the backdrop of my lowered eyelids, rods and cones drifting downward until I see it. "Full Reverse, power astern! Dammit Hazelwood...we're never gonna make it!"

Now Brett, that is one narrow dang channel. Tried teachin' wife and kids what the bouys mean so they could pull ME skiing...settled on "stay between the things"...

My wife would probably just run up on the bank if she saw that...at least I'd hope that would be the worst thing. Otherwise, if she tried to follow my instructions...

Brettski - I have this photo of a boat full of partiers that got to close to the red one. They went on the wrong side, going way too fast, wound the buoy and line around the prop and ended up sitting on the shore with a trashed boat and motor. Luckily none were injured!

The people are all standing around the wreckage with beverage in hand contemplating their dilemma.

I have searched for the photo for 2 days and can't find it.

With your abilities you can close your eyes, empty you mind of all thoughts and then imagine the jocularity of that situation.

Dwight, you remind me of a pontoon-boat load of partiers who woke us up every night about 1 or 2 in the morning one week on vacation when I was a kid. Our campsite was about 75 feet from the docks; we'd turn in every night at 11 or so and then 2 or 3 hours later this pontoon boat would wake us up. The motor wasn't too loud but the occupants were always at an alcohol-enhanced elevated decibel level.

Anyway, one night as they approached the dock, one of the the partiers was hollaring "Jump, Grandma, jump!" After several iterations of this mantra, he mentioned (almost as a aside) "Grandma's over 80, but she can jump."

We couldn't see anything from inside out tent, as we waited for an octogenarian SPLASH that never happened. Evidently Grandma either really could jump, or decided not to try.

To this day, anytime I'm with my parents or sister and we see a pontoon boat, we hollar "Jump, Grandma, jump!"
