The new issue also arrived here today. I had a chance to peruse one article before company showed up to harass me. Some people just don�t understand the importance of PBM arrival day!

Bruce Condello � Please consider this while waiting for you PBM to arrive. Your consideration of this topic will give you a head start on the article that got me to worrying.

I am worried about the forty 10lb LMB in my 5 acre pond (80 pounds per acre) not having enough food to continue growing at the phenomenal rate that they have so far.

My neighbor has a tub grinder that they use to grind up those giant round hay bales. I am thinking that if I grind up one cow per week to feed those forty 10lb LMB, they will be just fine.

Does anyone have experience with using a tub grinder to grind up cows for LMB feed?
Will the tub grinder sling the meaty morsels out far enough in the pond to reach the LMB?
Do you think a 5 HP circulator would be useful in moving the meaty morsels in to the LMB�s strike zones?
Does a cow contain too much cholesterol for the good of the LMB?
Will the bone content cause the LMB to have indigestion?

I have a lot of questions��..

Although I often hide my true emotions behind buffoonery and use a tattered flying monkey suit to help forget, I too must admit my distress at once again falling to the bottom of the totem pole on the Lusk delivery route. Can't we get that guy a bike or something?

Wood chippers are excellent for raw meat processing. The chain-belt feed assures positive inflow of meat and flesh. The output is an invigorating splatter of canivore nourishment. They also work well for sticks.

I just don�t have the time to do an 800 pound cow each week, one chunk at a time. I need to do the whole cow in one quick grind-n-spew.

I forgot the name of the �meat� under that tarp, but I have a feeling you can tell me! :p

Bruce Condello � It is embarrassing that a forum Moderator would stoop to gambling on the timing of the arrival of the current PBM issue.

I understand the stress of being low on the list, but gambling.......

I would say that Bruce is wage..err, counting on Lusk to save him from his vices by hotshotting him a copy.

Jeff, I agree, it is a beautiful cover. Unfortunately that's all I got (the text was seperated from the cover). The Post Office is always prepared though - they have a stamp that says "received without contents". I'll call PB World Headquarters.

OK D.I.E.D, now that Bruce is out...care to go double or nothing ? I feel that it's only fair to warn you...I have an aggressive postal carrier, I had to call headquarters a couple issues ago to request one that NEVER made it ! The replacement copy did make it through the front lines though I am concerned, I noticed an evil grin on the carrier yesterday !

I think one of the problems you guys are having with your PB arrivals is that there's so much more content in the magazine, that it's taking the mail carriers longer to read it. Hence the delayed arrivals.

Fortunately for me, my mail carrier is aquaphobic.

I just peaked through the mini blinds and it's in the mailbox! Better get dressed before I make the dash.

In Sherman Wyman's article about building additions to the weekend home, there's a picture of a concrete pad adjacent to the new addition. There's a circle area that seems to be a firepit, but what it the protrusion that seems to be a bunker of some sort?
