Sunil,
That bunker is a tornado shelter. That part of the U.S. is in the area called "tornado alley." It's a steel reinforced concrete bunker buried six feet into the ground with heavy steel doors. It was there before he added onto his house. Almost everyone has a tornado shelter, just in case.

...by the way, my Pond Boss was in the P.O. box yesterday. (Yes, we mail one to me, just so I'll know how long it takes to get here.)

Still no copy here. I am going to have a stern talk with the mailman. We will see if it stays its normal time delay, 10 days after Sunil gets his ( Jan 15 ).

Ewest...
This may be crazy, but is it possible that the mailman wears shiny new penneyloafers?

Great articles in this issue.

Eric, that article on blocking nets has me really excited to try the same thing on my pond. I think I may have to try stocking some smallmouth in my bigger pond.

Bruce you mean you are going to follow in Shorty's footsteps. You know he did just that with his blocking net. ;\) :p

Now that the RES are in, I might do a second batch of SMB this spring behind a blocking net or a large floating fish cage.

The magazine arrived last week, my dad still has it so I havn't had a chance to look at it yet. \:\(

Arrived today. On normal schedule ( 10 days after Sunil gets his). It took 1 day longer this time as yesterday was a mail holiday.

ewest - I sold an item on eBay that got to Beijing faster then that.

Perhaps you should splurge and get a mailbox. As a well paid Moderator, I would think you could afford it!

Dwight it is not a question of money. You are surely aware that it is useless, not to mention a crime, to try to bribe the USPS. :p \:D Especially when they have gone fishing.

It is funny you say that. I know the mailman has no problem finding the mailbox as he fills it with bills, ad fliers , catalogs and junk mail every day.

ewest - The abhorrent devastation of trees to produce that wretched rubbish (junk mail) really burns my lower rear area.

I weighed 1 week of our junk mail last fall at 14 pounds (business and home). Sad \:\(

Bruce Condello - Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops are both bad.

I feel a research project coming on. Do you have access to any grant money? ;\)

Hey I have to look at piles and piles of the stuff everyday. I love it....of course it pays my salary. \:D It amazes me how much advertising mail (we don't call it junk mail) we process in the Lincoln PO. I can't imagine what it's like in a mail processing plant in, say, Chicago or LA. Anywho, the mailers pay to have it processed and delivered, so that's what we do.

I don't believe I ever seen a copy of PBM come through....just Bruce's that we keep in the breakroom for a few days.
