My grandpa took all 21 of his chidren, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to alaska for 10 days. I took the picture of the bear only about 15 feet from our boat.
The halibut my wife hooked into while fishing in Homer. Probably about the 5th fish she ever caught. it was 258 lbs. Alaska is awesome!!!!

Here is a picture of when it used to rain in west central MO! It has a 5' diameter loading tube with a 24" diameter discharge tube. The water was about 8" above the loading tube. This was a 4" rain in about 3 hours. The amount of water that comes out is amazing! Here is water overflowing the loading tube This is the discharge tube.

Nick...that first pic looks like a Jules Verne movie! I presume this to be the Muddy Puddle aspiring to a higher level of recognition...?

Amazing Nick, just amazing, I have had 17" of rain in the last 3 days, the first 14" came in 16 hours, the other 3 were over the remaining time period. But, while we had a lot of standing water in the surrounding rice paddies we had nothing that looked like your pictures.

Nick I just paid big bucks for a similar size drop structure 42 inch barrel 30 inch discharge. I can't wait to experience what you already have.
Brettski your palace is now 6 inches from being totally submerged. 5 ft left before reaching crest.

trailsguy,
I see we are in the same neck of the woods! I live in KC, MO (Brookside area). My pond is located south east of Harrisonville, MO. I am very lucky to have the pond. I found one of those spots that was made to build a pond on! (or at least that is what I tell my wife!!!)

Brookside is a great area with some really nice unique old homes. Gald to see another fellow Missourian on the board.
A little snow, Please!
