Although I am sure you are feeling a lot of disappointment right now don't dispair. If you have crunched all the numbers (sorry my cpa self is taking over) and determined that it is better for you to wait then you have made the right decision.
My advice to you is keep looking at properties, walk as many as you can. This will help keep you focused and will give you much more of a basis for comparison.
