It not the temp that is really that bad....its the 4 1/2 inches of freezing rain that we have thus far. It is a miracle that my power is still on! It is supposed to turn to snow with a total of 8-14 inches. We have not had a real snow here in over 7 years!

Its been in the 70's all week here, I got bass busting things all over the place but they SEEM to be leaving the trout alone. Bass are crashing the shallows left and right. I almost want the temp to drop so they go back to sleep for the rest of the winter. Having a lot of fun feeding these trout, they feed great.

Whoa, I see from the weather map that you are in the middle of it. The snow is OK, but the frozen rain on everyting is bad, very bad.

I hope you power stays on and you get through the storm OK! \:\)

Yep we were delivering trout yesterday in 84 degrees. To say the least I was a little concerned. Luckily the pond temp was still at 66, stress level, but they should make it with pending weather you guys are talking about coming this way.

4.5 inches of ice and then 10 inches of snow on top of that! EVERYTHING is closed around here and I mean everything. High winds and drifting is the major problem. I am going to try to get down by the pond today and see if the deicer is keeping the waters open.
