Thanks for the responses guys. Looks like I am going to have to come up with plan B. I did some googling last night for solar lighting and was impressed with what I found. Perhaps I could use solar power for the aeration also. The pond is spring fed (approx. 10 gpm) and when the new section is done will have a small creek feeding it.
By the way, I entered my subscription for the magazine last night. Can't wait to get my first copy.
