DIED you are on to an interesting point (no pun intended) with that post. The above pond has points and coves going in every direction. One thing I have noticed is that no matter the wind direction when you get in a cove it seems like the wind and water/waves are coming from the point where the cove opens to the lake. The only calm places are out in the main lake in the limited locations where the winds and currents counteract each other.
